We’re pleased to announce that the web version of SciFinder Scholar is now available.

New features include a ‘Keep me posted’ alert service and the ability to save up to 20 answer sets.

Please note that the desktop client is still available so you can switch between the two versions as you choose.

SciFinder web uses your College email and IP address as authentication. Therefore if you wish to use SciFinder web off campus you need to connect into the College network via the VPN.

Registration is required for SciFinder web – more details and a link to the registration page are available from the library website.

‘How to’ guides for both versions are available from the CAS website.

We still have six ‘seats’ which can be allocated between the two versions. At present we have two seats allocated for the web version and four for the desktop client. The allocation can be easily changed if necessary.
