CAS will be ‘retiring’ the following older desktop versions of SciFinder at the end of January 2009.

SciFinder 2006 for Microsoft® Windows
SciFinder 2006 for MAC OS X

SciFinder 2007 will continue to be supported and can be downloaded from the ICT software shop.

SciFinder is now also available for the web. To access the web version, you will first need to register with the site. If you will be using it from off-campus, you will need to be logged in to the VPN.

If you are not sure which version of SciFinder you are currently using it is possible to check this when you next use SciFinder. Select ‘Help’ from the menu bar and ‘About SciFinder’. A pop up window will appear containing information about the version currently installed.
